EXCITED TO SHARE my middle of the night ah ha about the common cold…and how that also relates to the longevity of our food.
If we think about food needing to be held at a certain temperatures or else harmful bacteria can take off and grow making the food toxic. (Think of food poisoning)
Our human body is at a temperature that helps to keep the harmful bacteria under control. However if we get chilled and our body Temperature lowers to a zone that the harmful bacteria can take off… than our body has to jump in and turn up the temp (fever) to kill off this bacteria and than the detox process begins (expelling mucus containing this bacteria by coughing and sneezing)
Also the types of food we eat can effect how much our bodies can fight off this take over.
No wonder they call it a COLD and no wonder they have not found a ‘cure’ for it.
You may ask what about when I catch a cold from someone else? Well if you research deep enough you will discover these harmful bacteria are actually parasites!
So again whether it’s our food or our bodies it’s these parasites that get a jump start on their growth when the temperature is in a certain zone AND I feel when they are amped up into their little take over army mode they are happy to jump into a new host via airborne or drinking from the same glass etc..
I was always someone who catches colds easily. I have a CRONIC situation when it comes to colds. I lived in fear of even the slightest chill. I was either catching a cold or getting over one. Made sense as my core temp runs low.
One day I missed a very important event due to having a cold. I decide I had had enough. I made the cold and flu formula vibe bracelet (the black Velcro ones) and I wear one on each wrist for over 10 years now 24/7.
For me it really really really worked. Instead of 10-15 colds a year I now get maybe 1-2 super light ones. And if I take a shower and forget to put my bracelet back on I can feel a cold knocking on my door.
Now this leads me to the next question. How is this working?
